Expert Advisory Services|
EHR has formally packaged its previous hospital audit, assessment, and consultative project work under its Expert Advisory Services department. The Expert Advisory Services team functions on a consultative basis for hospitals that need assistance in conducting RAC readiness assessments, compliance process improvement assessments, and specialty audits including cardiology procedures and other high-risk program integrity audit targets.
- Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) Readiness Assessment
- Compliance Process Improvement Assessment
- Specialty Audit Services - Cardiology Procedures, Kyphoplasty, etc.
- Department of Justice (DOJ) and Zone Program Integrity Contractors (ZPIC) Investigation Consultation
EHR's Expert Advisory Services team supports hospitals that are trying to assess their retrospective level of compliance exposure in order to create financial reserves and pursue retrospective correction, self-disclosure, and/or repayment plans. The team can also conduct a full assessment of a hospital's concurrent medical necessity compliance processes and provide a full analysis with detailed improvement recommendations.
In addition, EHR provides expert medical necessity assistance to hospitals that are under Federal investigation. EHR's unparalleled team of top clinical, regulatory, legal, and statistical/actuarial experts provides a safety net for hospital clients.
Lastly, this department is focused on delivering many value-added services to EHR's current client hospitals including custom education and quarterly PEPPER analysis.
